And in a setup like that, your cycle stability basically lives or dies by how quickly your heating lamps hit their target temperature. If there’s a lag, you’re fighting an uphill battle. By tweaking the tungsten filament diameter and the gas pressure inside the quartz, we stripped away the “thermal inertia.” In plain English? You get a smaller lamp that still packs enough punch to soften those PET preforms without accidentally melting the neck. Built to actually fit There’s nothing worse than a part that “almost” fits. We use heavy-wall quartz glass so the tubes don’t bow or warp when things get hot. These are true drop-in replacements for SACMI specs. We use standard industrial connectors because a loose connection is a nightmare—it leads to arcing, and then your lamp burns out way before it should.
