The power you need, without the fuss
This is industrial-grade, plain and simple. We run it at 400V, pushing 2500W of heat through a 300mm tube. That kind of power density gets your mold surfaces up to temperature fast—and keeps them there, cycle after cycle.
Why the build matters
Inside, you’ve got a shortwave infrared halogen element in a quartz tube. That combo gives you quick thermal response and a tight, predictable heat profile. The tube itself is coated to handle the shock of repeated start-ups and cool-downs. In other words, it’s made to survive a busy shift, day after day, without burning out. And the connector? We went with an R7s base. It gives you a solid, direct-contact electrical fit. That means lower resistance and steady heat transfer. In practice, fewer hot spots. Fewer connection failures.
Real-world performance on the floor
This setup shines in PET blowing, where the heater has to deliver fast, repeatable heat without overshooting. The lamp’s footprint is compact, so it slips into the existing housings across the Sidel range. Swap out your old halogen unit without reworking brackets or re-running wiring.
