Infrared is great because it heats up fast. Way faster than those old fluid-filled rails. But there’s a catch: all that heat density can be brutal on the connection points. To stop the terminals from oxidizing and failing, we reinforced them. They can take the heat. One quick tip, though: make sure your replacement tube matches the original wattage. If you try to force a high-wattage element into a chassis meant for something smaller, you risk overheating the housing or tripping your breakers.Stick to the specs.
