Material & Design
Inside, the halogen element lives in a quartz envelope. It keeps the filament temperature steady, so the output stays consistent over the life of the tube. Quartz is tough. It handles rapid on-off cycling and extreme temperature swings without cracking. No drama. The R7s connector is simple and direct—just two contacts. It snaps in, carries the full load, and needs zero adapters. If you’ve got an R7s socket, this tube drops right in. Burn one out? Swap it in minutes and get back to work.
