If you&amp;rsquo;re running a high-voltage setup, you need a filament that can actually take the heat without popping a few days in.&#xA;That’s why we use a tungsten filament inside a halogen-filled quartz envelope. The halogen cycle basically puts the evaporated tungsten back onto the filament. It keeps the light steady and, more importantly, keeps the lamp from dying early.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
