The physical fit is right, too—R7s and bi-pin connectors, 150–350 mm arc lengths, 10 mm and 13 mm tube diameters—so the lamp seats the same way and lines up with the reflector without shimming. We hold tight tolerances on filament geometry and filament-to-reflector distance so you get the same heat distribution across the preform wall. Reflector cleanliness, terminal temperature, and voltage stability at the socket all move the needle. Expect a bit more inrush current on cold starts—plan for soft-start or PID tuning if your controller is sensitive. And if your machine uses custom window coatings or shielding, check the new lamp’s spectral output against your current preform material and colorant so you don’t overshoot at the neck or shoulder.
